A rising talent among the new generation of belly dancers Kaouther stands out for the theatrical dimension she gives to her interpretations and original choreographies.
She started her career with Mayodi’s Ballet el Noujoum with whom she worked for many years before deciding to become a solo artist.
After various shows in France she naturally moved on to performing abroad: New York, Dallas, Geneva, Brussels, Cairo...
The love for her Art is Kaouther’s drive! Besides teaching in Paris she continues to improve her technique and knowledge of traditional oriental music by working with some of the finest dance masters and choreographers in the world: Yousry Charif, Raqia Hassan, Dina, Randa Kamel, Tito Seif and many more.
Cinema wants her too! Rachid Bouchared trusted her to create the choreography of the oriental ballet in his latest film “Hors la loi” starring Djamel Debouzze & Roschdy Zem (Cannes 2010 Official Competition – French release on September 22nd 2010).
It is upon Raqia Hassan's request who always focused on her evolution, that Kaouther will be joining the 2011 editon of the prestigious International Festival Ahlan Wa Sahlan as Artist Performer and Teacher.
